Job Description

Customising the service call – MS Access Database
Calculate the time Taken to fix the problem
In our business we have Pre-Paid Service Call option
For the Pre-Paid option, the client top up his account with a number of hours, and we need a
field to enter these hours for the client in the database
So, when we open a new case and select the client, the case form on display need to show the
available remaining hours for the client to use
Calculate & show the time taken to fix the problem between the open & close time of the case
“to the nearest 15 minutes increment”, also we need to have the flexibility to estimate & entre
the time taken to fix the problem manually, just in case we are not able to fix the problem on the
spot
The time taken to fix the problem will need be deducted from the client credit hours
If the client have $0 and did not top up his account yet, and we have provided service calls, the
client credit hours need to show negative number of hours (eg. -1:30:00)
Auto Monthly Reports to be Emailed to the Active Clients
We need a field to be ticked for active or NON-active clients, so the monthly emails will be sent
only to the active clients
The monthly reports need to include the service calls log for the month as well the remaining
credit hours for the client
The Business Logo need to show on the Report
The Switch Board
All the switch board buttons in the Report section when clicked, we need search by entering ID
or Name and Date Range to sort the report we need to look at
The “Edit Customer Details” button in the Form section when clicked, we need search by
entering ID or Name to sort the client we need to look at his details
New Case ID
When we select the case number to be random generated, it shows in hashes in the case form
as the box to show the number is not wide enough
