I need a marketing researcher that has a great understanding of LinkedIn, Facebook and social media marketing in general, that are able to put together a marketing report for my company.
The tasks are as follows:
1) Find 3 Companies
Find 3 different companies in the IT industry B2B that are using the social media and has a high engagement on either or both Facebook and LinkedIn.
(Preferably selling products around LAN, WAN go wireless networks, datacentres, IP-telephoning, safety, videoconferences and network surveillance)
2) Social Media Research
On both LinkedIn and Facebook I need to know the following for the 3 companies:
a) The companies visual presence
What do you believe is strong about the companies visual identity? (The profile picture, the banner etc.)
b) What posting content are they successful with?
For this question please describe the top 3 best updates for each of the 3 companies. It should the updates they have had the highest engagement on in terms of 'likes', 'shadings' and 'comments'. (I have attached a model with 9 different themes for you to categorise the theme of the posting)
c) Describe in a good way how they engage the audience and eventually employees in these top 3 postings - screen shots would be effective.
d) Do they use a special 'Tone of Voice'
e) Give a few examples of how they link their content to other social media platforms (Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, Snapchat etc.)
f) How do they use hashtags across their social media channels and is it effectively used in your opinion?
3) Social Media In the IT Industry
Please give your brief opinion on how a company in the B2B IT Sector (Selling products around LAN, WAN go wireless networks, datacentres, IP-telephoning, safety, videoconferences and network surveillance) can effectively use the social media in terms of:
a) How can the company become more than just another IT Company' - but become an attractive brand in the minds of employees, partners and customers. Just let me hear your ideas.
b) How to create new contacts/collaborations (Create Sales) - eventually give a few examples of how to combine online with offline activities in the IT industry. For example around IT fairs or events where you meet the customers face to face.
If a nice report is made. A potential fixed collaboration could be established into the future.
