Background Music Needed For Video Game
Closed - This job posting has been filled.
We are in need of music for our first game, tentatively titled KITTEN ROCKET.
EDIT: Please view a mock up demo of the game here:
There may be some minor changes to the aesthetics in the final game, but that should hopefully be enough for you to get an idea.
Ideally, we are looking for a tune that has an bright, orchestrated feel to it. It should be very energetic and bouncy. The song should be loopable, but mucho bonus points if it also stands on it's own as an actual song.
The length should be at least 90 seconds but can be longer.
We are not really music production experts, so we leave the how of the composition up to you. If you choose to create it in MIDI, we do request that you use the most natural sounding samples you have at your disposal.
Here are four songs that we hope will give you an idea of the type of song we are looking for, in respect to tone, tempo, etc:
1) Double Cherry Pass (Super Mario 3D World Soundtrack)
2) Neapolitan Girl (The Divine Comedy)
3) Wind Garden (Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack)
4) Something for the Weekend (The Divine Comedy)
Please note that we are NOT asking you to rip off or borrow liberally from any of the above examples. That is the very last thing we want, in fact!
Thank you for considering this offer. We look forward to hopefully kicking around ideas with you!
