Are you a wordpress expert? Looking for consistent work with a fair employer?
I’m an internet marketing expert who is a veteran of the online advertising industry and a former CEO that’s now independent. I have a few clients, a few personal projects, and a few other websites (as well as future projects in queue). I'm looking for a web developer with a broad range of skills that can be my go-to development person, who likes to take responsibility and own his/her work – making sure that they produce the best output and are ultimately proud of their work. I specifically need someone who can do the following:
- customizing WordPress-based websites
- building new WordPress-based websites (for local businesses and other web projects of mine)
- plugin formatting via WP Editor when needed
- updating content & fonts on the sites
- modifying WP theme layouts
- managing website content
- creating custom page themes
- misc. small web development tasks
- ecommerce / shopping carts
- affiliate websites and web stores
I’m attempting to build a few different businesses right now, so this person must be ok with responsibility, must communicate well, and be:
- consistent with quality and pace of work
- consistent with communication (*this is an absolute must*)
- able to meet goals and timelines (reasonably set and mutually communicated)
This position could easily turn into a full-time, long-term position for the right person who can help me meet my client’s need and build the websites I need created. I'm looking for someone who can help me grow my portfolio of clients and personal projects, and take them all to the next level and you will be working with me personally to do so.
I'm a very fair person to work for and am looking to find the right person to be my go-to web developer who is flexible, and motivated to work on multiple unrelated projects. I need a person who is willing to do all kinds of work from basic to advanced development while I am building my businesses by using my team’s task management system (work MUST be managed here) and being accountable for their work. I’ve got plans for future projects, and the position can grow into more and more work, more responsibility, and ultimately more pay – if I can find the right person! I’m willing to do some coaching to help make you the best professional you can be so we can grow together, and at times I even offer to pay for education if it helps me reach my professional goals. I also have employee/team documents for when you come on board, explaining my policies and how to use my task management system. You must also be willing to work on my team with my personal assistant/project manager, and my designer.
If you read through all of this posting, and are interested in the position, please mark your application/response with the phrase “This is the job for me.”, and I will personally review your application. Also, please respond with your preferred working hours (compared to my time in California, PST), and let me know when you can begin.
Thank you for your application!
