Editor Wanted for Choral CD
Closed - This job posting has been filled and work has been completed.
I am putting together a CD for a Massachusetts-based girls’ choir, and need someone to help me edit it. The final CD will be about 50 minutes of music. Repertoire is largely from the English choral tradition.
The raw material from the recording sessions is available as .wav files. Half is recorded on two tracks, and the other half on three tracks. I will choose which parts of each take I want to use, but need you to stitch the chosen parts together, adjust balance, and so on.
Also, the quality of the original recording is less than perfect, and there are occasional clicking noises. I’d like your advice on whether it is possible to remove these noises.
I’m looking for someone with excellent technical skills – and someone who also works well in partnership with people like me who don’t have those technical skills.
Ideally, this work will be done by Nov. 1.
If this sounds like you, please respond with
1. Details of your audio editing experience (especially choral/classical experience)
2. Either a rough estimate of how many hours such an edit will take you, or details of what further information you need from me in order to provide an estimate
