eLumit is an architectural lighting website that serves architects and lighting specifiers with lighting search and project management web-services.

We have a growing user-base of 8800 registered users that need to know that communication lines are open and that their feedback is important to us.

This initial contract will lead to a long term position for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have a promising history in growing online communities. The candidate should have experience in learning and eventually supporting web-services, with a goal in incorporating user feedback to assist in future development.

Individual relationships with users should be nurtured and grown; the candidate will assist in creating incentive structures to encourage word of mouth growth.

The candidate should also have experience in crafting public messages via emails and social media networks as part of a larger community growth strategy.

Should you choose to apply, please provide writing samples of either private support correspondence or public messages from your previous roles. Be prepared to demonstrate or discuss your ability to present a consistently professional image via various communication mediums. Candidates with a solid phone presence are preferred. Also submit a brief plan for how you plan to grow our user-base; preference will be given to candidates with solid, detailed plans. You will be expected to execute this marketing strategy;

The budget is negotiable depending on your submitted plan. You'll have a about a month to execute your plan and your results and content will determine the nature of the future position. Your initial plan should also include only no cost or low cost solutions for building relationships.
