Android NDK R9 bash build script for gloox c++ library
This should be pretty quick and easy for someone who already works with NDK projects on a regular basis.
Using host system of Ubuntu 13.04 x64 with Android NDK R9 - want to be able to compile and run the gloox library on Android device.
No GUI required or java code.
The job here is to construct a a bash script for Ubuntu to compile for arm Android 4.2 target system (using the NDK compiler) so that the example programs that come with gloox can be run with adb shell on the Android 4.2 arm device.
Gloox 1.0.3 is fine, source code here: http://camaya.net/gloox/
The bash script should have clearly defined variables for all paths so it can be run anywhere on Ubuntu system and not hard-coded for home directory. Same with the Android NDK paths, etc. Further, wget / git / svn pulls of required components directly in bash script.
any patches required to gloox should be clearly defined and broken out. If they are small, perhaps sed against the source? Open to suggestions here - depending on how much is required. Mostly it seems just a matter of getting the path variables, configure and makefiles correct.
