Grade and Synthesize Results of Middle School Math Tests
I am looking for a person to grade five classes (up to 150 students) of middle school math tests throughout the 2013-2014 school year, which is September 2013 to June 2014. Specific grading instructions will be provided to you, the grader. Results will be compiled in an Excel spreadsheet, which will also be provided. Grader will receive scanned copies of tests (student names will be removed and replaced with alphanumeric codes), which are to be printed, graded in red, rescanned, and emailed back to me along with an Excel spreadsheet of the results.
A person who is a good fit for this job has a degree in math, engineering, business, or other related field, experience teaching middle school math, or is otherwise well-versed in middle school level mathematics topics. This job requires Excel fluency, data entry skills, attention to detail, and an interest in math.
Please include in your application your level of education and experience with this level of math material. Please indicate if you will be able to print out possibly 100+ pages of test material to grade and also that you will be able to scan and email all graded tests as one pdf (or equivalent) document. This is an ongoing job that will span the entire 2013-2014 school year, so please verify that you are willing to stay onboard with me for the duration of the school year. I would like to work with one person only.
My grading specifications will be very clear, and my tests are very purposefully written, so you can count on that from me always. You should be hyper-organized and consistent as well.
