The purpose of this project is to develop Propeller Clock. Propeller clock is an electronic device that contains a variety of LEDs. These LEDs will be built on a single rectangular board, which will be rotated by little machine. All together will illustrate an illusion of a clock. In order to build up this particular piece of device, this will essentially require the following components;
• A high speed DC motor: Used to rotate the board and to provide sufficient speed in order to generate the illusion.
• Microcontroller AT89S52: used to control the time delay that will enable LEDs to display numbers while DC motor remains moving.
• IR: used as switch so that will users can switch the clock ON or OFF via a remote control.
• Variety of real components such as resistors and capacitors.
Note: DC motor directly generates feedback to the microprocessor to identify the position of the motor at any instant.
