Job Description

Hello, basically the project is to create the electronics to make a complete daft punk led display like in the video shown below but before you watch it, keep in mind that i am only trying to complete the silver helmet.

ok here are the specs on it:

1.) the front is a 11x40 led matrix, so that means there are 11 leds going up and 40 going across. and each led is 3mm.

2.) here are some good examples of the side lights:

5.) this has to have an iphone app, it can be extremely basic but i just need to have a list of animations to pick from on the app.

6.) i also need simple program where i can create my own animations sorta like a .gif, where you pick which light needs to light up and what color and then click next frame and so on. and also from the program on computer you can send it wirelessly to the iphone app and have new animations.

7.) it must also have a pcb designed and programmed for connecting nes controllers. there are already pcb's created to do this but i need mine to be custom. i do not wish to copy anyone's work. here is a link to what it should look like:

except the 2 black female/male connectors wont be directly soldered on, i will connect them with wires and mount them somewhere else.

8.) once you plug in the nes controller/controllers, it will ask to pick a game. very simple games such as pong or snake. we can discuss this later. and to quit you just unplug them.

9.) i will be using a beaglebone black unless i need something stronger.

10.) every light must be individually controllable via computer program then send to iphone.

11.) i will be using max7221cwg chips as the multiplexer.

12.) you must be able to create pcb's that i give to you. and by that i mean i will give you schematics of the shape.

13.) if you need my budget to be higher please tell me, since i do not know how much it needs to be. i am just giving a random number.

14.) i dont think i forgot anything but if you think you can handle all of this then please contact me.

15.) i also dont know exactly what you will need to know to be able to complete this, so far you must have, python, eagle-pcb, pcb design, electronics, and electrical-engineering skills.

16.) also, this must be done as soon as possible.
