Bluetooth 4.0 peripheral mode on Samsung S4 running Android 4.3
I would like to have he ability to use a Samsung Galaxy S $ as a Bluetooth 4.0/Bluetooth Low Energy peripheral. The BLE API in 4.3 and 4.3 only allows a central role and not a peripheral role. I need the peripheral role to be callable from my app and I need it to work reliably in the background.
You will need to discover the BLE chipset that the S4 runs. I believer it's the Broadcom chip. Yo will then need to figure out how to get the .so that will allow your code to interact with it. You will then have to write an API that can be accessed from my code. The code needs to be unit tested. The code must work in the background and be usable asynchronously.
