Job Description

We are looking for a Wordpress expert to complete the setup of a Travel website. We need the following functionality implemented:

Phase 1
1. Complete setup of site (has been started by the designer)
2. Storage of "trip" info with categories and destinations
3. Ability to sort on different dimensions, such as by destination and category
4. Ability to display these categories on a map by destination
5. Setup a "trip" page template so that admin can add trip info to create or add new trips anytime
6. Tweak front page per specs (change to 100% width, add accordian if possible but not "required" etc)
7. Integrate social media (Facebook, twitter, rss, potentially mail chimp)
8. Setup page template that can be password protected to send out to customers

Phase 2:
Setup individual login functionality for users to retrieve their booking/travel info

Contractor requirements:

We’re looking for a short-term contractor to complete development of this website. The ideal developer has:

1. Successfully developed Wordpress applications
2. Strong experience in general website development
3. Is familiar with setting up cross-related categories to search by dimensions with a map
4. Has a good eye for design and can help recommend layout and design of pages
5. Has great organizational and prioritization skills to get work done without losing the main goal

How to apply

1. Your Wordpress experience, including examples of past work
2. Your familiarity with ability to setup a search and sort functionality on websites (similar to requested above)
3. When you can start (we want to get the main functionality of the website done and in production as soon as possible)
4. Very high estimate of time and cost it will take (understand you can't be too specific until you have seen the detailed requirements)
