Office Administrator


Job Description

Office/Business Administrator needed to oversee all business aspects of a small, virtual web development company based in the US. All staff are contractors, mostly affiliated with oDesk.

We own and manage 100 live websites and are in the process of developing 100 more. All are upscale and focused on travel, gourmet, wine, and literature.

Job requirements:

Excellent command of written and verbal English.

General knowledge of office management, including invoicing, light bookkeeping (any software), receivables, payables, customer service, etc.

Usually, sales is not a part of the business administrator function, but our organization is a bit different, so general sales is included. Mostly this is overseeing orders that come in by phone, email or our web stores. We only sell services provided by outside contractors, so no products are involved. Your job is to see that we deliver the services ordered, get paid, and that our clients are happy.

Work together with our Operations Project Manager, bookkeeper, COO and President to ensure that the business runs smoothly.
