Job Description

Note: We need a story board to assign this project

We are looking for a qualified programmer who can create a combination SURF / ROLLER COASTER GAME that we can use with our patented surf simulator machines www.hawaii5go.com The PC game would be similar to what we have already done in BOO code so you can take a look at how the surfer already moves in the WAVE TUBE - left and right only. Our goal for this would be to add or make an entirely new game where: 1) the surfer (first person point of view only like the attached link to the video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iKM162ffxY sees only the front of the surfboard. 2) the surfer is on a roller coaster track in the water and can lean left and right to capture objects on the walls of the WAVE like coins, etc. while surfing on the water. The surfer must avoid touching bad objects which will remove points from the overall score which is shown while SURF COASTING... See our rough concept examples attached. 3) as the surfer rides the board (POV with NOSE of SURFBOARD SHOWING ONLY) up the tube of the wave the motion slows down and speeds up when going down. 4) our goal is to create a feeling of SPEED and riding a ROLLER COASTER and yet have some skill in being able to lean left and right to gather coins and avoid evil objects at the same time. At present, our game only is a flat tube where the surfer stays at one constant speed. The view is camera following only. 5) one level only and only one minute long in gameplay. However, the objects are randomized per each game play to make it hard to predict where the coins and evil objects will be. 6) the ability to place and change graphics within the game such as SIGNS and backgrounds as we are able to in our present demo game attached. See how we are able to change the backgrounds and logo on surfboard. The person who is awarded this project must show skills and understanding that they can accomplish this via a rough story board and a very rough demo. Graphics are not as important as the actual gameplay and being able to create the FEELING of riding the roller coaster. This game will be played with our surf simulators on a large 60 inch screen at all times. The graphics can be like the Wii style... the FEELING of MOVEMENT and SPEED is key to this project.
