We need a professional web designer that can help us design a very communicative website. We are a non for profit organization with the mission of educating homeless and re-inserting them into society. In order to attract donors we need to be able to transmit throughout our website, videos, and photos the suffering of the homeless as well as their joy as they evolve in the program and finally achieve a sustainable life. The sites needs to be very clean, simple to navigate and very communicative. The platform is wordpress and we have broken down the project in two phases. Every phase is broken down in smaller phases (P1a, P1b, and more) and will follow an agile SDLC methodology. If we are satisfied with the product you will become our guy to go. We are looking for an stable and healthy business relation. If you want to be part of making this world a better place for the million of homeless this is the right place for you. If you don't believe on it we prefer that you ignore this post.
Phase 1: Under construction site and basic website. The basic website will only count with a home page, a program page with two more pages underneath (Educational Program and Mental Health Program), a Get Involved page, with two more pages underneath (volunteers and donors), a News & Education page with three pages underneath (events, press releases, and education), and a Foundation page with four pages underneath (history, What we do, careers, and contact us).
Phase 2: Phase two is the introduction and implementation of an eCommerce site under the Get Involved page to sale products. This will include a top notch and simple to use buy flow where consumers can buy products and pick where they want their money to go - all profits from the products go to support the development of a homeless. Consumers will be able to track the progress of their homeless as well.
We are looking for a passionate web designer that will help us effectively communicate the message, create emotion and transmit a sense of belonging. We are a fan of Steve Jobs' design concepts. We don't want the same crowded non-profits websites, we want something clean and that communicates.
