Patient Coordinator (English/French a must):
This person will instruct patients in all aspects of infertility treatment and coordinate IVF egg donation cycles.
Daily management of patient care prior to start of cycle and up to end of cycle.
Mostly supervision and communications work with physicians involving the management of Patients and coordination of their treatment to ensure it is synchronized with that of their intended egg donor.
Communicate primarily via email, and phone conversation.
In the future, possibly through personal meetings at least during intro stage with a new patient.
Reporting to the Medical Director, but working closely with the Program Coordinator and Logistics Coordinators.

Preference will be given to those who have worked in the field of fertility care, nursing background is a plus.
This position requires the fluent command of being bilingual English/French, both oral and written.
This position is also available for part-time work, or telecommuting.
The Patient Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the endometrial preparation of intended recipients of egg donation and/or donors in ovulation induction cycles.
• Provide Liaison services to IVF Clinics
o Work closely with Donors, Donor Coordinators, Medical Directors IVF Partner Clinics, Referring Physicians, and ensure that communication flows between all constituents in an accurate and timely fashion acting as an information-clearing house.
o Routine calls to patients and their clinics about bloodwork, ultrasound results and medication instructions.
• Record Keeping
o Maintain accurate Medical Protocols for Donor and Patient Procedures as needed
o Maintain Donor & Patient Database and medical files.
o Update Donor and Patient Records as needed
• Coordination of Patients
o Coordination of IVF cycles to include: chart/medical history profile preparation, bloodwork requirements, consent forms, and medications. (on some occasions also ensure contracts and financial obligations are received)
o Responsible for pre-treatment and post-treatment care and service to IVF patients,
o perform admission history and physical file review
o Participate in the management and treatment of problems/complications by alerting the responsible physician and communicating back to patient
o Order and review laboratory and diagnostic testing, medications, consultations for patient management under supervision of attending physicians and other specialists in the area of IVF.
o Review all lab results with a view to ensuring that they are complete, flag items of interest that might be unusual and worth reviewing. Notify physicians of the results and communicate back to the patients with recommended treatment options as per instructions of the responsible physician.
• Education & Patient Intake
o Educate, teach, and counsel recipients and donors on general infertility, ovulation induction, and stress reduction as it relates to IVF cycles with egg donation.
o Explain how to fill out Medical History Profile and the type of tests required, prior to cycle
o Outline and schedule treatment plans for patients waiting for their IVF cycle.
o Prepare and deliver patient education seminars for patients and/or donors who are interested in participating in an IVF with egg donation cycle
