We are a small company looking for a front-end web developer to make updates to two of our websites. You must be experienced in, and great with, Joomla and Fabrik frameworks.
You'll be making updates to a scheduling system: going through bug lists, changelogs etc and making updates and changes.
We're looking for someone with great attention to detail who will complete the job flawlessly, a self-motivated person who doesn't require management or oversight.
We expect this job to take approximately 10 hours to complete.
While this is obviously a quick job, there is definitely the potential for ongoing work, for the right person. Our company is small but takes on a variety of different work; we're quirky, nerdy and fun, and it's a great place to work, and a great team to be a part of.
It is possible to do this job remotely, but we will give strong preference to a local candidate who can work from our Brooklyn office, or possibly from our Manhattan office. It's worth mentioning that our Brooklyn "office" is in fact a science fiction bookshop on the DUMBO waterfront. (Did we mention that this was a great place to work?) If you can't spend the entire duration of the job onsite, that's fine too- but we would like someone who we can meet in person.
Compensation - competitive and based on experience level. The budget listed below is the midrange of the compensation we can offer.
