I'm looking for an electrical engineer/ consultant to work with me on an exciting new project to build a hardware box prototype (beacon) with a few distinct features -- look at the attached diagram and be 100% sure you can build this device:
1.) it will need to contain a cell phone signal detector as well as possibly Wi-Fi probe request detector. It will need to be done in combination with internal software writing/ programming that reads not only how many cell signals there are in a given space but also the movement of signals, i.e. eliminate those which are NOT stationary or moving faster than a certain speed (people walking by outside on street. It would need to collect a number of cellular devices detected in a given space - and transmits it as preconfigured data with date & time stamp obtained from the internal clock every 60 sec.
2. ) the device would have an internal clock, configurable somehow for a time-zone. (Maybe an atomic clock synch after initial time-zone set?) This would give us a Date and Time stamp (D&T) on data transmitted.
3.) it would need to have a low-fidelity camera (meaning lens and imaging chip), adjustable angle, maybe lens to cover a certain area. Not video, only taking black and white "LO-FI" still images every 60 seconds. Image should be transmitted with date & time stamp (D&T) as metadata embedded in image - D&T obtained from internal clock.
4.) would also need to have a Programmable Device ID record and Programmable Venue ID record that would be transmitted with data.
5.) It would then transmit the collected data and images through a "Data Transmission Module" -- Wi-Fi initially then via cellular data transmission. Every 60 seconds to specified recipient address. (Maybe e-mail?)
We need to be able to receive all this data and the image with a date & time stamp and venue ID to a computer that processes received information in a format we can take apart and feed into a database.
A bit challenging to explain in text. I have a drawn up schematic with the features, functionalities of modules of the device that will explain it more visually what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a top-notch electrical engineer & consultant that can work with me in building this device that best that it can be it the most efficient and minimalistic way.
Deliverables: Need actual hardware prototype built as per diagram with all functionalities as per diagram, fully functioning and tested. Price includes all hardware components that may need to be obtained by selected contractor. End product needs to transmit via http protocol data obtained as per schematic diagram and specifications. Power may be North American 110V for now as long as unit is designed so that we can update it later with a world-wide 110-220 volt power module that will power the device.
