We are looking for an experienced developer with demonstrable relevant experience to port the Cooksomething iOS app to Android.
Cooksomething is a social photo sharing app that lets cooks get inspiration and share dishes that they or other cooks have cooked.
Starting in April we need a developer to deliver the app bug free and tested by mid May (end May worst case).
Web Services and all creative assets will be provided.
The app has the following non-exhaustive list of features:
Registration and authentication using forms plus twitter and facebook.
User profile pages (Add / Edit)
Dish Carousel for browsing
Dish detail view (photo plus other appended content)
Comments on Dishes
Chef Carousel view for browsing
Chef Detail view with the chefs' dishes
Dish Like and Share functions using twitter, facebook and email.
User communication preferences
Static content (Terms etc).
Sponsored dish (ability to control Dish Carousel display remotely from the web services)
Search (free text and faceted)
Cookbook (saved favourite dishes)
Various filtered views of chefs and dishes
Installation of google analytics.
Please note al IP related to this development is to be retained by cooksomething.
We will take a recommendation on the use of a framework such as phone gap.
Your deliverables will include:
Provision of a milestone based timeline
Weekly communications and progress updates
6 month warranty on delivered code
Sufficient testing time to assure the quality of the delivery including the provision of a written test plan
The maintenance of a shared issue list
The mapping of the use cases or stories in a SOW to be signed off before development begins.
