VB/VBA UI Program to convert lots of csv Data into stats and graphs on a Word doc
We're looking to create an VB/VBA based program that allows an employee to submit multiple client csv files, run the program, and end up with a single Microsoft Word document that contains all necessary stats, graphs, and insights.
The program will have a basic UI.
There will be 3-4 different data formats in the csv documents that will be submitted by employees depending on the client needs. The program should automatically adapt to this or allow the user to determine the appropriate selection.
The user will need to be able to determine the default file location for the generated Word document.
The Word document will contain empty and labeled text areas for custom employee insights in addition to the generated stats, graphs, and insights. It will contain graphics that we will provide as well as formatted text.
The program should allow the user the ability to replace the default graphics used within the template. This needs to be a back-end option and not included every time the program runs.
The user will need the ability to add a 'client logo' image every time they run the program for a client.
The program will need to function properly in both Mac and Windows environments.
It is fine if other programming languages other than VB/VBA are involved for programmer's ease, preference, etc. We're concerned with the final output.
