Title: Credit Analyst, Underwriter / Business Loan Manager

Corporate Consulting is looking to hire full time Credit Analyst, Underwriter / Business Loan Manager.

Position Description:

Credit Analyst, Underwriter / Business Loan Manager position is responsible for managing client business loan applications and working with banks to get application decisions.  Individual will primarily be liaison between the bank’s underwriter and the client to ensure applications get properly reviewed by the bank and yield maximum approval amounts.  

Duties include:

-       Personally analyze personal credit and pre-application documents to determine credit worthiness of the business loan and the borrower
-       Spread and analyze business owner’s Credit Report, Financial Data on Application, and other relevant data for purpose of PRE-UNDERWRITING and to facilitate approvals as liaison with the bank’s underwriter
-       Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy
-       Verify data between documents and systems and ensure covenant compliance
-       Identification of risks (personal credit, business, etc…) and also recognize strengths.
-       Prepares written summary of conclusions.
-       Personally facilitate approvals as liaison with the bank’s underwriter by highlighting application strengths  (personal credit, business, etc…)

Essential Skills:

-       Ability to perform a thorough credit analysis at loan level and on the borrower(s).
-       Knowledge of Loan documentation and Loan processing  (Business loans preferred)
-       Possess strong analytical skills.
-       Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
-       Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
-       Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with a high degree of initiative
-       Effective Organizational Skills are needed to handle multiple projects in an efficient manner.
-       Ability to work independently and as a team player
-       Thrive in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment
-       Leadership abilities to allow for possibility for growth into department management role

Qualifications:

-       Associate’s Degree required (Accounting or Finance major preferred).
-       2+ years in related financial or banking work experience
-       2+ years of Credit Analysis working with Personal Credit Reports and Debt to Income evaluations
-       Experience with loan underwriting (Business loans preferred)
