We are looking for someone to manage all aspects of our golf tournaments and board meetings. This person would work for a 6-9 member board and report directly to the current President.

Make all preliminary inquiries to golf courses regarding cost, availability of play, catering and contract review.
Submit detailed golf "packages" to the board
Secure golf tournament dates and catering with the golf course.
Produce and distribute (email & USPS) tournament sign-ups.
Collect and deposit tournament entry fees
Purchase all tournament trophies and spiffs and insure they are at the tournament.
Prepare tournament pairings from entries.
Prepare pairing sheet and score cards for tournament - Knowledge of GHIN and TPP software extremely helpful
Confirm current handicap indexes and course handicaps for each tournament.
Post all tournament scores to the GHIN database.
Maintain full accounting of each tournament
Prepare all documents for board meetings, including: minutes from the previous, bank reconciliation, tournament P&L and upcoming tournament information.
Arrange location, time and dates of meetings.
Maintain all bank records
Maintain current and past membership rosters
Communicate with all board positions on a regular basis regarding all aspects of the golf club and tournaments.
Be familiar with all club rules and procedures.
We are an 85 year old industry golf club with approximately 70 members. Tournaments usually draw 40-50 players. The position works closely with all board members. This is the only paid position in the club, all board members all voluntary. The board helps with all aspects of club management, including everything listed above.
All tournaments are in the San Francisco/Bay Area. A local person that can meet with the board would be preferred, but not mandatory. A person with exceptional organizational skills, good communication skills and knowledge of golf could be located anywhere.
