Job Description

We need bright, enthusiastic, native English speakers to have daily phone conversations with our customers on a variety of topics. Our customers are Asian professionals who already speak English but want to improve on their conversational skills, pronunciation, and grammar. We are looking for smart people who enjoy talking on the phone and can be friendly and patient while helping our customers perfect their English language skills. We are only accepting applications from native English speakers, preferably from the US or Canada.

Conversations will last about 10 minutes each, with a five minute break after each one, and will cover simple, everyday topics. Due to time differences, the calls will take place between 5pm and 5am PST on weekdays. You will be able to choose your hours within that window, so you do not need to be available all night, but please let us know in your response what hours you are available during that time, which days during the week, and how many total hours per week you would like to work.

We need very dependable people for this role. If you will be unable to make a scheduled call, you will have to give us at least 24 hours notice. This is non-negotiable. If you are not a punctual or dependable person, this is not the job for you!

Teaching experience is not required, but you should be comfortable speaking proper English and helping others learn it through simple conversations with you.
