Need IMMEDIATE (as in today) help styling a section of my website:
I know enough to get myself in trouble and I need a helping hand.
The section I need styled is the "Industry" section.
I have attached a mockup with two button states. One shows normal state and one shows link selected.
Here is where I am so far http://18.104.22.168/~psrsafet/
I have begun styling by creating a class for the entire section and a separate class for each buttom as well as a class for the "piping" (vertical separator line).
I am using a single transparent png for all of the icons and positioning the image within a block using the scroll icon
Only the background color changes when selected. Right now the bkd colors are intentionally wrong so I can see what I amd doing.
Eventually there will be no color bkd in the unselected state or (it will match the exixting bkd). The selected state should be a brighter by perhaps 10.
My main problem is that I do not want the piping to be a selectable element and I am having trouble styling it otherwise.
My other problem is that I am very slow at doing this and I am running out of time.
One more thing is that the mockup shows this section taller than I want it. Please make it 70px high with the ability to adjust the height.
Please do not alter the graphic element that I am using and keep the text of these buttons editable (in other words please do not make an image out of the text)
The site is built using the Executive Child theme running on the Genesis parent. Familiarity with Genesis is preferred.
