jquery script modification
Closed - This job posting has been filled and work has been completed.
Hi all, I have a gallery script I would like to make some modifications to.
The script is located at http://www.podies.com/isotope/
It is is linked to Google Spreadsheets as the back end database.
IMPROVED SEARCHING / FILTERING
I would like to have only a single search box that searches title, short description, and long description fields.
Category should be a filter similar to how they have it on the http://isotope.metafizzy.co/ page.
I would like a date filter for items added in last week, month, year, all time.
Should be able to sort items by most recent date added by default, by name, by popularity (depending on how visits works), and random).
I am not sure if the visits functionality works - but basically when someone clicks a box to show the popup this should be counted somewhere so people can see which products others have clicked on the most.
UPDATING THE DATA
When I add a new product to the spreadsheet I would like it to display first - so that when new users visit the site they see the latest products that have been added. If it makes it easier and means we dont have to load the whole site I could add items to the top row in the spreadsheet, but is it possible to change the code to start from the bottom row of the spreadsheet and start including backwards ?
When I view the page source in my browser I cant see any product information / titles / details, but when I do this on the isotope site and other isotope built sites I can see the information. It basically means that at the moment none of my content is visible to Google. This works on other sites using the isotope script but not on this one for some reason.
When you click and the popup displays it makes the background black. I would like it so it is still there but faded. eg like http://www.zurb.com/playground/rev
Can you have the script so it is center aligned. See http://isotope.metafizzy.co/docs/l
BUDGET would be $100 to $200 ish.
Keen to get the changes made as soon as possible.
If you have any other ideas how to improve the script please include them in your response and provide additional estimate of cost to complete.
