Front-End Developer with 5+ years of professional experience

We are looking for a highly skilled front-end developer to join our development team supporting two successful startups (http://www.simplecontent.com & http://jamiethedentist.com).
The engineer in you must be able to solve complex technical problems with speed and smarts. The creative thinker in you must be able to produce pixel-perfect, highly usable interactive experiences from designers, comps and wireframes. And the leader in you must be able to articulate and communicate technical ideas and recommendations to team.

You will be working on:
-Building new features into existing websites - jamiethedentist.com & simplecontent.com
-Creating responsive web experiences across multiple web browsers
-Integrating with REST APIs (JSON)
-Integrating social media features
-Creating Facebook pages/apps
Experience and Abilities:
-Excellent conversational english and writing
-Ability to clearly communicate complicated and highly technical ideas and concepts to a non-technical audience
-Experience working within agile methodologies
-Experience in progressive feature enhancement
-Experience collaborating with visual designers to produce beautiful, responsive, and functional web pages
-Ability to create project documentation that is clear, detailed and accurate
-Experience in working with distributed teams
-Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies
-5+ years professional experience as a Front-End Developer, preferably with high traffic, consumer facing web sites.
-Expert in HTML5/CSS3/JS, including jQuery, backbone.js, SASS, AJAX, and other frameworks/libraries
-Expert in utilising REST web services (JSON)
-Expert knowledge of PHP
-Familiarity with GIT
