Ebay/Amazon API to integrate orders with Microsoft Access
The user is an online merchant, selling with ebay, Amazon and website orders (E-junkie online shopping cart). The user will process data with an MS Access desktop app that runs, forms, macros, queries, reports, that link to MySQL tables on his web server hosted by “Dreamhost” using ODBC ...
The user ships most product with USPS (USA Postal), integrating with Stamps.com as the portal to batch export/import the shipping data i.e. shipping address, tracking# and to also print postage stamps and shipping labels.
I need a developer to modify the attached mockup database and replace all of the MS Access tables and empty (mockup) macros with MYSQL tables/API code that would be hosted on our web server.
1. there would be two API’s called:
these API’s would import new customer-order data from the order sources Ebay and Amazon . The order data would be appended to the tables, "tbl_ebay", and "tbl_amazon" (the user already runs a pre-developed MS Access macro to append the new order data to "tbl_ order" and "tbl_orderline" tables, so making such a macro to append to the order and order line tables is NOT in your specs). the existing mockup order source tables "” tbl_amazon_API_order”, “tbl_amazon_API_order_line”, “tbl_ebay_API_order”, “tbl_ebay_API_order_line” must be modified in order to include all available API tables/fields that are provided by Ebay/Amazon API, **THESE TABLES ARE NOT ACCURATE BECAUSE I am not familiar with the ebay/amazon API tables, so I can not properly include them in my mockup**
2.Make an API called "API_validate_shipping_address", that would update the Boolean "yes/no" data-type field "tbl_order.hold_invalid_adrs" to "True", only if ship-to address fields in "tbl_order" are identified as invalid by either USPS.com's or stamp.com’s address validation API tool. This is required because very often the customers from the user’s E-junkie shopping cart don't supply a correct shipping address and stamps.com rejects the shipment if the address is invalid.... 3. there would be two API’s called::
• " API_export_to_order_source_data_ama
that would run an API to export the shipping data from the MYSQL table "tbl_order" and export to the online order sources Ebay and Amazon, only if the field "tbl_order.tracking_nmbr_ID" is not null and the field "tbl_order.time_stamp_exported_to _order_source" is null.
4. The user also sometimes uses Amazon's "Fulfilled By Amazon" ("FBA" service) as a distribution center to warehouse and ship some of his product (FYIhttp://services.amazon.com/cont
I am easy to work with and am hoping to find a reliable full time MS Access/VBA/Web developer for multiple projects.
