Job Description

Transmitter:
1. Takes 1S or 2S or 3S LiPo cell as power source.
2. PAL/NTSC cameras on input.
3. Transmitter weight as small as possible, ideally <40g without antenna.
4. Transmission frequency should be selectable or several devices should be designed, one for each frequency. Actual frequencies I'm interested in are 900 MHz for US and 1280 MHz for other countries. Probably some other make sense.

Receiver:
1. Takes 1S or 2S or 3S LiPo cell as power source.
2. RCA output.

My primary concern is transmission range.

Questions:
1. What is the transmission range achievable in practice?
2. Effort and time estimate for PCB/circuit design, prototyping, test production.
3. Approximate production cost for small-scale (100 items), avg-scale (1000 items), large-scale (10000) production.
