iPhone app for cloud-based scheduling system
Closed - This job posting has been filled and work has been completed.
We're looking for a small team to build an iPhone app for our cloud-based scheduling system, and to add features to that app over time as needed.
Our team is passionate about building excellent user experiences with excellent code. Users give our product rave reviews, and we want a team that shares our values and that will help us to extend our product's great reputation with a solid iPhone app.
The functionality of the app will include viewing schedules, making requests for time off, and swapping assignments, among other things. You'll integrate with the scheduling system using an API that will be developed by our internal team for this project.
We'll do this project in two parts: a prototype phase in which we work out the nitty-gritty of the user experience by creating a minimally functional app, and an implementation phase in which the app is integrated with the API, completed, and polished. If we select your team for the prototype project, we will award the implementation project to you as well, assuming that all goes well with the prototype. We are shooting to complete both the prototype and v1 of the app by the end of January, and get it on the App Store by early February.
If you'd like to apply, please send us the following:
- An Objective-C code sample that shows off the quality code you can produce. Automated tests are a significant plus; TDD is even better.
- Three iPhone app GUI samples (in the form of screenshots, videos, or published apps) that show off the quality UX you can create.
Once we receive your application, we will provide more detailed specs for the app so that you can provide an accurate quote. Applications that we receive that do not provide the samples above will be summarily discarded. We look forward to hearing from you!
Finally, if your team also has Android app development skills, you can submit an application for our Android app project here:
