node.js/mongodb developer wanted for non-profit project
Closed - This job posting has been filled.
We are a non-profit in California, designing a system to help Cancer patients find the best cures for them, information and doctors.
We currently have a great developer on our team (working with a designer) who has architected a system using node.js/mongodb/backbone.js/reddis. The system is deployed on EC2 and will launch soon.
We are looking for a talented developer to join him on the project and help deliver the first MVP (due in December). This will involve building a few backend administration tools, auto emailing, newsletters system (possibly integrating with Mailchimp),etc
The system is well-documented and we communicate well.
If we work well together, we will retain you in a lead role from January, and scale our system to reach many more partner organizations, and concentrate on a robust data architecture.
We are looking to hire as early as next week. Work will be remote, with regular checkins on Skype. We use Github, Workflowy, Google Docs a lot.
