We are looking for a person who could help us in this situation:
we have a desktop application written in c#/.net and on windows 7 machine with a webcam.
On that machine the user can see a list of people. Those people can be on any of these platforms:
3)regular webpage (flash can be used, but html5 or something else would be better)
4)mobile webpage (so no flash for iphone, so probably html5 or something similar)
We must support 1 and 2. 3 is also almost a must, while 4 would be nice. So if you have a solution that doesn't support 4 its ok.
The desktop user(there is only one user of this type) is a central user and not the same as other users.
The desktop user can call any of the people on the list and that person can answer and initiate a two way video audio call with him.
On the other hand each person on that list can SEE but not HEAR the desktop at any time while the desktop cannot hear or see anyone before he calls them and they answer.
So when a desktop user calls an iphone for example, the iphone user actually sees the desktop user before he answers (but cannot hear them) as every person in the list has that option.
We would like a person who would suggest us a platform that could achieve this. We already have a c#, iphone and android programmer so we actually need someone who will setup the server part and guide the programmers in the right way.
We would prefer open protocols, but if someone knows how to do this with for instance RTMP protocol from Adobe (that means that the same thing can be used on .net, android java, and iphone objective c) we are open to suggestions.
adobe's rtmp servers
