Applicable values as long-term relationship and increasing customer value are standard concepts to me. I am a quick learner (see my reference of Accenture) and I enjoy developing myself. I work easily with set up structures which I try to make my own, and improve to gain better results. I studied Small Business & Retail Management and in this area I gained a lot of knowledge in the past years. It also makes me the person who thinks about your business by showing keen interest. During my recent projects on oDesk I improved my Office (Microsoft/Google) skills significantly. Other software I work(ed) with are Wordpress, GetResponse, AutoRespond, Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey, Gimp, Audacity and basically all Google products. Canadian living in London. I am enthusiastic, energetic, creative, and passionate about every new task I take on. I have a passion for the English language and love creative writing, editing, and any project that allows me to be imaginative with words while still making use of excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation (I'm a bit of a stickler in that regard!). I have years of photography and photo-editing experience, professional training as a classical and opera singer (and a variety of other genres), experience working with children, visual merchandising experience, and many, many years spent in retail honing my customer service skills. I am hardworking, highly motivated, reliable and responsible, with a desire to excel in all that I do. While I've got a lot of experience under my belt, there is so much more to gain, so I am always eager to learn new skills and expand my knowledge.
Over the past 10 years I've developed software both professionally, and as a hobby. I enjoy working on more than just my daily grind, so I've come here for a little something extra. Do you have an interesting project? Read on, I may have the skills you need. Let's talk desktop/back-end development: C#, Ruby, Go, C, Objective-C, Powerbuilder, SQL (ANSI/MSSQL), Perl. Those aren't languages I've just spent a few hours on; I've shipped products or currently maintain projects in those languages. How about web development? I love writing responsive, cross-browser/cross-platform sites that work as well on the desktop as they do on your phone or tablet. It's a great challenge to stay ahead of the curve.

I am a senior web programmer offering website development services that include full website development, custom JS programming, design, linux server configuration, SEO and more. For best results, please challenge me with something new to create from the ground up. I'm highly motivated by modern design. For example, why require unnecessary server interactions when the browser can process WEB services via AJAX only when required? Efficient modern software architecture is both elegant and practical: apps run faster.
My previous line of work led to the start of a VA business. My goal is to work with what I like and keep up the trend of various tasks. The rate described is my lowest rate, which I usuallay apply because I sometimes like to do assignments to keep my skills at a recent level, then that rate apply. On the other hand could other assigments require a higher rate. My VA role is one of the multi skilled, or multifaceted as I use for marketing, since I've learned a lot of different skills during the positions I held. I'm very service minded, as I started out as a cashier and office girl and had the privilege to work with people with genuine feeling for service. I find it likable and I also think it makes sense to keep a service minded attitude towards customers. If you see someone without a smile - give them one of yours kind of recaps what service is about. Besides the service offered in the line of work, that is. Later on I've for several years each, held positions as sales secretary, school secretary, administrative consultant, application specialist and web/system developer. In addition to work I've been studying sociology, psychology and computer science at academic level. Still today I feel at home in almost any constellation of work, I like to do repetitive tasks from time to time, and challenging tasks from time to time. Work satisfaction is important to me and it means delivering good results, to be of benefit to the receiver. For myself the help and learn part goes a long way. One other thing to mention is that I learned to type at early age. That skill has been both useful and fun during the years. Besides skills in service and typing I'm interested in languages, both human and computer. Where human language is concerned I write with good imagination, do my research and have a very good vocabulary. Where computers are concerned I like to do life easier for end users and I also focus on usability. Where both languages are involved I also like to enhance the experience for the reader/user. Oh, I nearly forgot (if yo're still reading this short essay that is), I also do some graphic designs from time to time. Web design, Logo designs, Business Cards, Newsletter, formatting in Word, layouts in PowerPoint and so on! We need beautiful things! Cheers!
