Cristian is a comic book and manga illustrator, music video animator and director, graphic and layout designer, and a self-publishing guru. He self-published his first comic book in 1996, while still in high school. He studied Animation at Algonquin College (Ottawa) and worked in TV and Feature Animation Studios, on shows like "Franklin the Turtle" and with creators like John Kricfaluci ("Ren and Stimpy"). He also studied Creative Writing and Studio Art at Concordia University (Montreal), where he refined his story-telling skills and painting techniques. In 2002, Cristian resumed publishing and began to work for himself as a full-time freelance artist. During the span of his professional artist career, Cristian has created large-scale murals and paintings and has his art in the library archives of The National Gallery of Canada and The Billy Ireland Cartoon Museum at Ohio U. He also successfully owns an art school called "Masterpiece Art School." Besides animation, he's written and directed a couple of short live-action films, one of them based on his "Big Boss: Gun For Hire" graphic novel.
