    I am a designer that codes. I am skilled and versatile with PHP, HTML5, CCS3, XML, Jquery, SEO, W3C Compliance and security skills plus I have lots of experience with the content management system Joomla! which is my specialty. Generally, I offer quality work, fast turn around and a good price but my rule of thumb is that you can get only two of these things together at a time. Quality work takes time. Fast results cost money. You get the idea. The number one reason projects fail is that they were never realistically possible in the first place. Let's each do our best to be realistic about what is possible. Please note that communication is very important to me however, I am only available Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 7pm AST (-4GMT) via email, text, Skype, Google Talk and telephone. I take off all US federal holidays and US Virgin Island holidays. I don't provide status reports or reply to non-emergency communications after 7pm or before 10am or on Sundays, Mondays or holidays. If you require work or communications before 10am after 7pm or on a Sunday, Monday or holiday I will do my best to accommodate you but I charge a premium rate for my time off. I give status reports every other day I work on your project. I don't provide status reports on Sundays, Mondays, US federal holidays or US Virgin Island holidays. My bid is for the tasks we agree to in writing and my bid is predicated on you having a properly configured LAMP stack server, Joomla! install and extensions. Any task(s) not included in our written agreement but that is(are) required for completion of the agreed tasks (i.e. fixing things that were broken when I got here) will be documented and completed upon written agreement to pay a reasonable additional charge for the work needed but not documented in the project outline. The client agrees to pay all oDesk fees. For every Joomla! site I build or migrate or work on I like to install and configure the following vital extensions, when they are compatible with the version of Joomla! your site employs, to help me better server you and your business: Akeeba Backup Pro take a backup prior to beginning work. When the complexity of the project warrants it I use the Akeeba backup to create a development site in a subfolder so we can make and test changes without breaking the live site. And for automated backups that can be synced to your Dropbox. Box.net, Amazon S3 or a few other storage services. If Dropbox or Box.net are used then if you have the desktop app you can get a backup synced to your desktop or fireproof, waterproof hard drive if you're like me. Akeeba Admin Tools to monitor Joomla! core file updates and for the firewall and maintenance features that can be automated. Force Password Complexity to help ensure you utilize sufficiently complex passwords so they are not easily brute forced with a dictionary attack. Cupdater to monitor all extensions that use the Joomla! update system and email us when updates are needed. xMap combined with a Google Webmaster Tools account to allow Google and other search engines access to a .xml sitemap. I guarantee all my work to your 100% satisfaction and unlike many freelance "PRO"s I can and actually do perform all the work contracted for myself instead of farming it out for less money than you paid ensuring you don't get your money's worth from the developer who performs the work. It is my goal to ensure that my work habits and the results they produce provide you with a level of service that ensures I will continue to be well recommended on oDesk so I do not and will not work on a site where other developers are working at the same time.
