I have more than 6 years of experience as working on image processing and computer vision projects using Matlab and OpenCV libraries on C++ and Python platforms. I usually work with Windows OS and Visual Studio for C++ or in Python. I can also work with Ubuntu. I have a masters in Remote Sensing where I worked with satellite imagery. Then I went on research positions for exploring computer vision for cheap cameras. I have worked extensively on camera calibration and 3D reconstruction using multiple views. So far I have explored OpenCV library for number of projects ranging from object detection, image matching, OCR, object tracking, image blending, panorama creation, text detection in images, face detection, hand tracking, background subtraction, camera calibration, 3D reconstruction. You can check my portfolio to go through samples of my work.
I've been programming since 90's. My experience not only means get the job done, also means I can provide better solutions for you. Familiar with PHP/C#/Python, build web site, web bot/scrape, windows applications.
I finished my BS at the University of Arizona in Computer Engineering with minors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Math. During college I co-oped with an incredibly talented group of people at IBM and picked up a variety of skills including quality assurance testing, scripting, development, and agile processes. After University, I joined IBM full time working for the DFSMS team testing mainframe software. In 2009, I took a leave of absence from IBM to travel for 3 years around Asia. I have just about finished my tour of Asia, seeing 19 total countries, experiencing a multitude of challenges and a wide variety of cultures. It has been a unique opportunity for me to learn and grow while always presenting challenges. During my time in Asia I have picked up a QA position with Ironhorse Interactive and have been working on frontend testing, test plans, test case creation, and automating functional testing. I am currently in the process of creating my first iOS based game using the cocos2d framework. One of my top goals is to help create and maintain an open source project. I am seeking opportunities to program applications, automate website testing, or design test solutions. Specialties Scripting, development, QA testing, automation (Cucumber with Selenium/Capybara/Watir), web development, iOS development, and *nix management.

Data scientist turned freelance developer specialising in Zoho Creator/CRM + PHP/Angular JS. I trained as a research scientist and as a programmer, graduating from Monash Uni with first class honours in Bioinformatics/Data Mining in July 2011. Since then I have spent 3 years freelancing as a developer/consultant specialising in the Zoho Suite + custom PHP websites. My clients include Microsoft, Intel, Yarra Valley Water, PixcPhotos.com as well as numerous SMEs. I am a native English speaker living in Australia. My communication skills are first rate: I have won numerous prizes for my writing (e.g. a trip to Switzerland) and public speaking (through Toastmasters). Over the last five years, I have built a large number of websites and software applications in Zoho Creator, PHP, Java, .Net and Python. This means I understand web and software development and I can also explain these concepts to non-tech experts. My current focus is on the Zoho Suite. I started using the products myself, and love them so much that I now make a living from setting them up for my clients. I can build just about any application you like in Zoho Creator (view my portfolio for details). I can help boost your sales by setting up Zoho CRM for you. If customer service is your focus, I can set up Zoho Support for you. And if you're using other software (e.g. accounting packages), chances are I can integrate them into Zoho so your backend systems will play together nicely. A note about pricing: Usually I work on a fixed price basis. I will work with you to develop a project specification and then quote to do the whole job rather than working on an hourly basis. This means you have the peace of mind of knowing exactly how much a project will cost. If the scope changes, we will obviously need to discuss a change in price, but I think it is crucial that your expectations are clear as to how much you will be outlaying. The hourly rate on my profile is for the subcontractors working for me. I generally act as a project manager supervising my developers rather than doing the coding myself because I've got too many projects to handle myself. If you do want me to work exclusively on your project, my rate is $150/hour. Generally people prefer to work with me as a project manager because it works out to be more cost effective, faster and just as high quality because I conduct code reviews and my team and I have an intensive manual and automated QA process before handing over work. Skills: Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Books, PHP, Laravel, Angular JS, jQuery, Fat Zebra, Xero, Base CRM
