I was nicknamed SuperSue by my boss when I was working as an Executive Assistant for the Managing Director of an international joint-venture construction company. This is because I can dangle a phone on my ear, type on the keyboard on my left and write with my right hand simultaneously. Not exactly similar to superhero, but I can be quick and still efficient when given a task. I worked as a PA for 10 years, looking after first, the Site Manager and eventually promoted to working for the Managing Director. Not only was I an EA to the MD, I was also a Site Manager setting-up mobile construction sites, portable sanitation facilities and hiring administrative staffs to assist the assigned project. I introduced a standard filing system as well as an effective method to circulate correspondences throughout the project sites and main office. I am super at being a PA. Not only can I do diary management, respond to correspondences (email or by snail post), I can also manage the Human Resources aspects of the company by hiring staffs and doing payroll. Other than that, I can do simple bookkeeping by using Wave and Quickbooks. I am polite on the phone and has great interpersonal skills. I speak English, Mandarin and German fluently therefore I am great with talking to everyone. I like being busy therefore I am always doing something.... just anything!
