This knowledge of web development has also allowed me to become a very effective online marketer. Over the past five years I have honed my skills at pay per click advertising, search engine optimization, and social media marketing. I managed Empire Genomics entire online marketing division which required me to write and mange effective Google Adwords advertisements, develop product specific landing pages with custom Request More Information forms, develop and send custom HTML email newsletters, and optimize the websites keywords. Using Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Click Heat Maps, Constant Contact, and some custom code I increased the company's monthly visitors from 200 to 9000 over the course of two months. The custom landing pages converted over 125 customer netting over $150,000 in revenue alone. Throughout this time frame I have also learned how to manage remote projects. I have written multiple system requirements documents and have managed multiple outsourced teams who were hired to develop the applications outlined in the system requirements documents. I have worked closely with contractors in India, Turkey, France, and the United States and can quickly develop the best management style to increase productivity and quality in any contractor.
