I got trained on the use of GIS software [ArcGIS 9.2], AutoCAD 7 and its applications when there was a short break in my studies. Developed my skills on the use of other GIS and mapping software such as ArcMap 10.0, MapInfo and AutoCAD Interspatial Technologies Nigeria – Client Services May 2011 - August 2012 Developed my skills on the use of other GIS and mapping software such as ArcMap 10.0, MapInfo, MapSource, Gpsmapedit, Onpoint WebGIS, Cgpsmmapper, Arcpad 8.0, FME Workbench and AutoCAD 12. Relatively Quick Learning Skills - Accomplished tasks assigned with little or no supervision with research into techniques needed, self tutoring, regular visit to forums and professional assistance Projects: I was in-charge and instrumental in the production of Lagos State Street maps by taking time outside of office hours to check the accuracy of every data already in the database to ascertain if it conforms to what is on ground through field work. This was achieved by rigorous field enumeration (using Trimble Juno mobile device) to acquire relevant information such as road speed limit, roundabouts, road restrictions, parcel use, name and address, postcode and town names. With the use of GIS software, Mapping packages and network design software such as ArcMap10.0, Gpsmapper, Cgpsmapper v100, Mapset tool, Notepad, Arcpad 8.0 to process and customize, the navigation map was created and tested even by the Governor and Commissioners of Lagos State. Training of staff and various client in the use of surveying and ad hoc GIS packages I was assigned to carry out flood risk map and analysis for various locations within the state using statistical data collected from various source, also I was instrumental in the initial redesign and adjustment of the proposed MetroLine Corridor through the Lagos State Ministry of Transport in which I attended different meetings with the Governor of Lagos State. British Red Cross – GIS Analyst/Mapping (Volunteer) September 2013 – Till Date Geographic analysis and development of tools for managing or supporting geographic analysis and further help in the development and use of the tool set.
