Hello, my name is Pat Mallon. I'm the author of the sci-fi adventure, Seefer Elliot and the World Aside Ours, and the children's humor, Reluctantly-Told Tales of Egg-Boy. I also contribute short stories and musings throughout the Interwebs. You can see some of my illustrative work at m4dh.com, which is the landing site for my webcomic, Milk for Dead Hamsters. It can be racy at times, so if you're easily offended, I'd recommend passing on the link. I enjoy what I do and welcome new projects. Maybe yours is my next endeavor. High fives! Pat Mallon

Having completed a BFA in Studio Arts from Concordia University, I am looking for any creative work that involves illustration, graphic design or photo editing. I am proficient in a variety of design and illustration software; most notably Photoshop, Illustrator and Manga Studio. My most recent endeavour is a comic book that I am collaborating on with an American writer. I also have a background in writing, copy-editing, and translating. I am trilingual--fluent in English, French and Bengali--and can translate any English-French or French-English document in a quick and efficient manner.
I offer a variety of services, with the only common thread being that they're all communications related. So, if you only have a germ of an idea and you need someone to expand on it, research it, write it up, edit the copy and then illustrate it, consider me one-stop shopping. Here is a breakdown of my skills/experience in the various services I'm offering. Cartoonist/illustrator: I've been a cartooning hobbyist my whole life and I've worked on intermittent freelance assignments for over a decade. While I'm especially adept at original character design – particularly animals, aliens or other fantastical creatures - I'm pretty respectable as a caricaturist as well. Writer: I'm a natural-born storyteller and am very skilled at infusing otherwise dull material with a bit of fun. I once delivered a presentation in college about examples of convergent evolution in the social adaptations of termites and naked mole rats that was greeted by gales of (non-derisive) laughter. I've also written science fiction (mostly with a strong biology component) as a hobbyist. Reporter/researcher: I have a bachelor's degree in Print Journalism, served as editor in chief of my student newspaper and have worked with several small newspapers – either full-time or freelance – as a reporter. I'm very experienced with online research and conducting interviews. I'm a bit of a news junkie and follow current events – particularly American political and policy developments – pretty closely. Editor/fact checker: In addition to serving as editor in chief of my student newspaper, I spent three years working as a copyeditor of investigators' reports at a detective agency. This work often involved rewriting the reports of investigators and checking statements of fact against a variety of online sources, publicly available legal documents and surveillance video.
I am passionate about creatively applying my skills to fulfill your needs. Whether it be writing content for your webpage or creating character or logo designs, I strive to provide the best personalized content for each client. I have worked in both freelance and as an in-house artist and designer for Puca Studios, a game development company in Indianapolis.
Hello, My interests are: visual art (drawing, illustration, oil painting, digital photography and graphic design/art). My graphic design skills include: Adobe CS5 as the latet software I have used (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom). I also have knowledge of Microsoft Office software and PowerPoint. This summary includes my experiences in art, writing and office skills. I obtained a BA in Studio Art (equivalent to Fine Art), cum laude, in 2003. My experience in the field of visual art is leading me to the goal of one day owning an art studio which would also include a gallery, shop & perhaps art tutoring in the same space. Publishing an art book or so would be the next goal. I also hope to feature in more solo & joint art exhibits. During my time in college, I was a co-illustrator with other art students of a book of stories authored by local middle-school children. Since graduating, I have continued to create fine art and to also create art upon commission or request (mainly portraits and logos). In 2006-2007, I produced and sold art from within a physical location I was co-renting. I painted a mural for the children's corner of a library I was librarian at in 2007. Of course, it is still there. My logo experiences include two logos done for two paying clients. The logos were both for non-profits. 2009 was the year I created a drawn portrait of President Obama. I decided to mail two prints. In 2010, I received a thank you card signed by President and First Lady Obama. It was a most humbling event. I have also been featured in local newspapers for my art. I recently had a solo exhibit (Sept. 2012) and am apart of a joint university alumni exhibit (Nov.-Jan. 2013). I also recently sold a 3-piece series of original oil paintings. As for writing experience, as a college student, I wrote articles for the college paper and was an illustrator and photographer for it as well. When I'm not creating new artworks, I am blogging in one of my two art blogs, and so that also adds to my writing experience. One of my blogs, a Wordpress blog, was included on a blog awards list this year. In another area, I have history (5 years) as an administrative assistant in varying capacities (receptionist, hotel desk clerk, librarian). I am polished in my work, whether visual art, writing or office-related, and work to meet a manager, client or patron's needs.
I am available anytime to work. I'm in search for data entry jobs. My skills are immersed in Microsoft Excel and other office tools like MS Word and PowerPoint. I'm capable of handling e-mail support.I am also comfortable with customer service or virtual assistant as well! I have knowledge of various computer programs. I also enjoy learning new ways and strategies. I'm looking forward to work with clients who are willing to put my skills on the line and do business together. I welcome feedback whether positive or negative so that I can make changes for the future as well as learn more!
Hello, my name is Leah and I am a K-12 arts educator and ESL/EAL instructor. I have an extensive background in creative writing along with editing, proof reading, revising and correcting grammar mistakes. My minor is in English and language arts is my main area of study.
I am a writer looking to make a living off the things I love doing. I have been writing for several years now and have written in several different formats. I currently have a contract with a comic book company. Aside from writing I have also worked in costumer service, I have done some PR work and I have done some acting. I am professional, mature, responsible and will deliver nothing but the very best work to you.
I have spent most of my career in design, art production and art. Some notions about the art field are true, like the fact that you need to be detail oriented and have computer skills. I've worked for a group of newspapers for over 3 1/2 years and before that about seven years I have worked a company that produce products for the military. I have dealt directly with customers not only with designs but also taking orders and estimating the cost and time to complete them. A big part of creating for other people is to understanding what they want. Important skills I possess are customer service and good communication. A basic step is convincing the person that you comprehend what they convey to you and that your company can do it without complications. The ability to clearly communicate ideas back and forth is also an attribute I possess. Between this and past jobs I have dealt with preparing art for all types of print. I have helped produce items such as: labels, stickers, books, comic books, patches, hats, banners, buttons, flags, forms, coins and more. I've also been a political cartoonist and a self published comic book artist with a comic book distributed nationwide. Elsewhere, my comic book, was based off of a comic strip that I did in college and printed in multiple college papers. I did everything on it. I wrote it, drew it, set it up for print, hired the printer, did the press check, sent book out to distributors and went to comic shows to promote it. Though I'm not presently active with a comic book, I continue to go to related conventions and keep up with that field and related market. So what does this mean to you? You are looking at someone who is use to dealing with customers, estimating time and cost, finding printers and preparing work for them. I'm use to deadlines and keeping them. I'm a person with advance skills in drawing and design. Computer skills and the ability to learn new programs are definitely present. I have been in a stable position for a long period of time. I'm a person with the drive to do things and the skills to get things done. You can find out more about my experience in detail by looking at my resume'. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Joseph A. Krejci 5th
