While engaging on Assurance, Limited Scope Review, Special Certificates & Business Advisory assignments performed the succeeding tasks as per Ernst & Young Global Audit Methodology (GAM) e.g. Initial planning, understanding of client business, identifying significant risk areas, analysis of external environment, assessment of control risk, designing test of controls, designing the substantive procedures, providing on job training. Review of financial statements to ensure their compliance with IFRS, local law and/or prudential banking regulations, preparation of other deliverable i.e. management letter etc., liaising with legal, tax and IT professionals, use of audit software i.e. Caseware, Gamx Further, while engaging on Tax Compliance, Advisory, Accounting and Corporate assignments performed the following tasks as per relevant status e.g. Deferred Tax Computations, preparation of Income Tax & Sales Tax computations, e-filing of Income Tax Returns & Sales Tax Returns, Income Tax & Sales Tax appeals, tax and related compliance, review to statutory statements, analyzing the Salary computations and payroll workings. E-filing and realization of Sales Tax Refunds, Income Tax Refunds, Export rebates and R&D, preparation and e-filing of Wealth Statements & wealth reconciliation statements, due diligence of Income Taxes, finalization of Sales Tax Audit and Income Tax Audit, withholding tax Exemption Certificates. Monitoring the registration of Corporate Sector, Permanent establishment (PE) of foreign companies, Association of Persons (AOP’s), Business Individuals, Salaried Individuals, LCCI, Co-operative Societies, Trusts, Hotels, Restaurants and Travel agencies, reviewing and e-filing of numerous forms e.g. Form – 29, Form – 21, Form - A etc. Various sectors in which I have worked ranged from Investment banks, Financial institutes, Manufacturing concerns, FMCGs, Textile, Service entities, Education Sector, Information Technology Sector, Government sector etc.  less
