I've been with my present employer for total of 7.5 years. 5years working at the HQ in Singapore and 2.5 years WAH. My work status now is a full-time contractor as a bookkeeper in an Australian-owned company, whose main operations are in Australia. In the recent years, we also have business operations here in Singapore and in Malaysia. My work scope basically involves the whole process of accounts. It involves preparing management reports, such as cash flow forecast, profit and loss, aged payables and aged receivables, and sales pipeline among others. My duties also covers resolving issues of discrepancies and/or disputes with suppliers and customers, involves all the process of AP & AR, from issuing Purchase orders to Payment of the vendors, issuance of quotations and invoices and follow up collections and payments, data entry and reconciliation of records. Our clients are from different types of company, from SME to large companies and MNCs. Most of them are based in Australia, but some are based in USA, India, UK and other part of the world. Same with our suppliers. I believe I have gained my employers trust as i managed to work for them alone in the accounts departments while i was still in Singapore with minimal supervision.
