    Welcome to my Odesk profile! Here's a short overview of my curriculum vitae. Let me start with my work ethics. As I have learned from a wise man, I always make it a point to wholeheartedly love the job that I am given with. In doing so, I never felt working a single day of my life. Whatever the task maybe, I always enjoy the environment, the people I work with, and especially the compensation it brings. As a philosophy student during my seminary days, I have been trained to think logically and solve problems relatively with ease; my seminary experience also taught me to value time and respect ideas wherever they may come from. In addition to my education, my personal training also allowed me to master the English language, using it as second to my own colloquial Filipino, It became a part and integral to my professional life, as it is I put it to good use as advancement. As a result, I became proficient in its use that I became an expert in proofreading and copy-editing. I have also familiarized myself with different advance English tools, such as The Chicago Manual of Style, The Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation, and the Little, Brown Handbook. Furthermore, I am also very competent and am an expert in the field of Administrative Assistance, as it has been my forte since I started on my professional life. I have mastered the vital tools needed to perform the duties that it requires. These include proficiency in the use and application of the Microsoft Office, including the creation of simple database and macros and template designs for MS Excel and MS Word. As well as working knowledge in MS Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook. This would also include my self-taught skill in graphics and photo manipulation using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Specializing in administrative assistance also pushed me to become an adept in internet research, lead and candidate generation and sourcing, data entry, data processing (both manual and with the use of optical character recognition software , such as ABBY fine reader). One of my on-going and future goals is to setup a freelancing company of my own that can cater to the needs of start-up and established businesses on the virtual environment. The vision behind this is that my wife and I have always wanted to help others become aware of the profit and joys of earning a living without having the needs of leaving their families for long hours. In (2009) I relocated, and was hired by the Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging (a non-profit spanning 6 counties in Northern Virginia) as an IT specialist. I was the sole IT administrator, and daily task included everything from Network administration (Server 2008, Win XP, 25+ computers in main office, with 6 remote locations) to basic office equipment maintenance. As the agency grew, so did my education. I attended Cisco CCNA Training (2010) and took over maintenance of our Cisco Router and headed the installation of a VOIP phone system. Unfortunately, I left the agency just before gaining my CCNA certification. Customer Service -> I became a bartender after leaving the agency (2011) and gained an expertise in customer service and relations. I took it one step further (2013) and joined a local Fire Department as a volunteer EMT. I am currently focusing on my Medical training and my desire to help the public as a whole, which has led me here, to O-desk, and to freelancing as a means to continue my dedication to the public, while meeting my financial obligations as well.
