I lived in the US up to high school, and now currently reside in South Korea. Since I speak both English and Korean fluently, my future plans include translating/interpreting in English or Korean. I would like to gain further experience in this field. I have been associating with many foreigners who speak English since I moved back to South Korea, and I spend more than 25 hours a week with them. I also translate and interpret everyday tasks and other miscellaneous documents for foreigners in Korea. I look forward to opportunities to develop as a skilled translator and interpreter through odesk.  less

I was born in Korea and moved to the United States at the age of 1. I lived in Las Vegas for 9 years and moved to southern California to attend middle school and high school. Currently I am a fourth year at the University of California - San Diego. I am majoring in General Biology. Translator: I am fluent at reading, writing, and speaking in both Korean and English. I can translate in both directions if need be, though I find it much more comfortable to translate Korean work into English. I've translated a few essays for some cousins who were applying to and/or attending Johns Hopkins University, Berkeley, and USC. I can quickly and easily translate work that is colloquial. Advanced text and vocabulary will take more time. Powerpoint Expert: I have made many a presentation for many an occasion. I work quickly and efficiently without using time-consuming animations or tacky WordArt. I normally create bold, simple, and easy-to-read presentations, but I do have a good sense of art, an excellent sense of spatial arrangement, and great attention to detail that you can count on to keep your presentations from turning out tacky or illegible. I make use of so many keybord shortcuts that I hardly ever use the mouse. Will edit as many times as needed until you are completely satisfied with the product.  less
