I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business and Accountancy major in Management Accounting. In my first job, I worked as an outsourcing bookkeeper in an accounting firm named Mateo Pulido Accounting Firm wherein I handled financial reports of five different companies; do their monthly financial reports e.g. Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Equity of Accounts and other financial reports necessary to the company. I'm blessed to have positive feedbacks from the companies I am working with and because of that my boss decided to take me as one of his regular staff despite being a fresh graduate and only been working for three months. On the other hand, another opportunity has been calling me in the field of Marketing. During my internship in Volvo Philippines, I was given the opportunity to enter the world of Marketing. Their Human Resource Manager placed me at the Marketing Department as an OJT (On-the-Job Trainee) as they're impressed with my exam results and interview. I applied there for school requirements for our OJT. I spent more than 360 hours working at the Marketing Department of Volvo Philippines during my internship. I was given the break to be part of the launch of the New Volvo XC60 and had my first hands on experience in that prestigious marketing event. And because of this, Volvo Philippines called me again and asked me if I want to work for them in the Marketing Department seeing my natural potentials in Marketing. Here, I weighted things and decided to work for Volvo Philippines.
I worked at Volvo Philippines for almost a year and a half in the Marketing Department as a Marketing and Customer Relations Assistant. I handled events e.g. Golf tournaments, concert sponsorships and events for our clients. I also did the competitors monitoring and reports in the auto industry here in the Philippines and my Marketing skills are being well developed.
Though, currently I am in a new niche right now in forwarding industry. As a newbie in the industry and working in the industry for almost a year now, I was blessed to be an Account Manager as early as now. This became a reality in a fast phased because of the support of my loyal clients ever since I was at Volvo Philippines. Where I am right now is simply because of their support and to the new found clients and friends I am having and continuously meeting in this industry. And also this will never happen if God did not allow it to happen for this is part of His plans for my life.
On the other hand, I have plans to have my own business before this year ends though my savings is not enough to fulfil these plans of mine. Now I wanted to make use of my marketing, sales and technical skills in Accounting and maximize it to earn additional income as well. I have my CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) license and my accounting experience to back me up in dealing with financial reports etc. For the sales and marketing opportunities I have my work experiences to back me up and prove my worth. I still have 20 hours on my weekly schedule to fill up with something I love and feel very enthusiastic about. I am moving to freelance sites to take outsourced projects in sales, marketing and accounting to meet professionals online.
