I am a seasoned recruiter who has recruited over 1000 resources across MENA region only since 2010. Positions filled, have included not only developers, but team leads, principal and staff software engineers, chief architects, business analysts, etc. As of now, recruitment needs vary due to mid size companies evolving as result of ever-expanding outsourcing opportunities. But on average 10 to 15 developers still get hired by me every month.
My academic skills (Dual Masters in Business and Computer Sciences i.e. MBA/MCS), along with my 8+ years HR experience (5+ purely as Recruiter), helps me understand and identify recruitment needs of any technology firm in a 360 degree perspective. I use my hands on experience, a strong network of 6000+ resources, analytic abilities to carry out my routine tasks.
My previous role in GVS and current role in Jiffy have allowed me to extend my HR role to not only recruit but to coach managers on processes, provide direction to companies for team development, conduct formal training sessions on managing agile teams and advise senior level managers regarding business requirements.
This has allowed me to learn, in a great manner, about shortcomings of most of the managers and how to benchmark exceptional and average team players. And it has certainly added value to my skill level required for an improved day to day performance.
