Before moving into the social services, I spent several years in the telecom and software arena in sales, marketing and leadership positions. After transitioning into the public health sector, I used the abilities, knowledge and know-how I acquired from those experiences to quickly grow, expand, and diversify the campus, clinical, and community based programs I took lead of in order to meet the strategic goals of the organizations I was a part of. Not only were the major projects I helped lead result in millions of dollars of expanded revenue, geographic growth, new market penetration, mergers and acquisitions, new program development, network and software integration and upgrades, innovative partnerships and opportunities, but I also directed and lead teams to exceptional results on financial audits, strategic planning, budget processes, and accreditation, as well as all state, federal and insurance and compliance mandates.     My inspiration to pursue a career as a Valuation Surveying was sparked by observing my friend, a successful property developer. From a young age he allowed me to accompany him onto construction sites, where he educated me about the importance of accurate costs calculations and working to deadlines and budgets. I had hoped to follow in his footsteps by applying the skills and knowledge I will acquire, in the hope of one day running my own Valuation Company. I developed strong numeric skills, which I enjoy applying to practical situations. My ability to formulate complex calculations and knowledge of business accounts became invaluable in my future career in Property when I am required to evaluate building costs, including materials, transport and personnel. I deepened my practical experience of real estate through East African Consulting Surveyors and Valuers from 2011-2013. There, I was responsible for the provision of fair, accurate and consistent land values for rating and taxing purposes; the determination of compensation following the compulsory acquisition of land and the provision of specialist valuation and property advice to Individual clients who wished to take mortgage from a bank. Through this I developed a variety of negotiation and sales techniques, as well as office work methods which have assisted my study skills. Through this experience I also learnt that excellent communication skills are fundamental to success in the field of Property and Real Estate. In addition to real Estate and valuation, I have a strong interest in business, entrepreneurship, marketing and the global market and Economics. My personal goal is to master the market and fundamentals of Economics and to learn the core concepts contained within the global Economics to open a myriad of doors and opportunities for me to develop my own personal approach to the world of business. I am a thinker, but not one to think out loud. I love myself, but am not in love with the sound of my own voice. I want to be loved, but not at the cost of not loving myself. I want to know everything, but realize that nothing can ever be known for sure. I believe that nothing is absolute, but I can absolutely defend my beliefs. I understand that chance is prevalent in all aspects of life, but never leave anything important to chance. I am skeptical about everything, but realistic in the face of my skepticism. I believe that all our actions are determined, but feel completely free to do as I choose, I base everything on probability, but so does nature...probably. I respect the intimate connection between morality and law, but do not believe that either should unquestioningly respect the other. In my spare time I enjoy swimming to keep fit, watch documentaries and Hang around with friends. I am a highly self-motivated, who views failure as a trigger to improve myself. In addition, my sociable nature means that I love working in a team. I look forward to both the independent and group-orientated working space.
