Story about me.
I never planned to be a graphic designer, I entered University to study this profession just because I liked the title. Only at the end my third year did I feel a calling for this vocation, and that feeling has never left me.
In April 2010 I purchased a Canon 50d together with a glass Zeiss Planar 1.4/50 initially as a hobby but over time it has become
I love to draw, to Create illustrations for books, prints, etc., and to rarely draw portraits. But I think illustration is not my profession, it's more like breathing, eating, sleeping - just another vital process. There is a great genre of gonzojournalism, I love to create illustrations according to this principle. Illustrating from the center of events rather than as a distant bystander
and mixing this with personal experiences and absurd cynicism - such projects really make me happy. In the process of creating illustrations I use different materials: a tablet, pencil, cotton, ink, acril, leaves, hair, water color, paper, wood, pastels, fabric and many other things I have at hand.
Things I Love: beautiful typography, InDesign, Kafka and Goethe, black and red, dogs and octopus, good composition, German and Japanese art, A. Vebern, chiptune, superheroes, Rodarte, reading, working, pencil and watercolor, things made with love.
