My name is Ted Bendixson, and I'm a freelance writer who specializes in PR content, blogging, and copywriting. I believe that the simplest message is often the best one, so I really focus on figuring out who you are and what matters most to your customers. Seriously, that's it. No rocket science here. My clients come from all over the world. I've helped out numerous web start ups, creative professionals, software development companies, popular websites, and countless other small to medium sized businesses. I'm really good at figuring out what gets people curious so they keep reading. I know how to do it because I've experienced success with my own blog. Last year, my team and I released an iPhone app that generates a healthy return for us. I know what a good idea for an app looks like, how to build up hype for a release, and how to continue to make sales long after you put yourself out there. I'm also fluent in Objective C and Xcode, the languages of the iPhone. One little note about the pay rate I have listed. I charge what I charge in order to offset the other activities I have to do to run my business. $50 per hour might seem like a lot, but when you're spending a few hours each day writing emails and looking for that next big client, you just have to charge that much to stay afloat. Also, because I am self-employed, I have to pay all of my social security and health insurance myself. So realize that you're getting the highest quality writing from any contractor you're likely to find, and it's at a rather competitive rate. Most of my clients don't require more than one revision for any piece I write, and if you ever require more than two revisions, we might just have to go our separate ways. Sometimes it's simply a matter of compatibility. I've had a few of the same clients for years, and I hope you can be one of them.  less
