Turn an idea or business plan into an App or a Website I can pick your ideas and transform them into an elegant, expandable and lean specification. I will guide you through architecture principles, challenge your ideas and make sure your goals are doable, easy to understand and that a freelancer can execute what you need without setbacks. I can also estimate the cost of the project and even help you pick the best freelance for your project. What experience do I bring? 1. On the business side, I am an Harvard MBA and entrepreneur and a former consultant at McKinsey. I have worked or had big exposure to Banking, Telco, Travel, State, Utilities, Health & Pharma. I have overseen or executed a handful of Business Plans, some which failed, others which succeeded, everything from a small booking app to a complete new Bank. 2. On the technical side, I am a Computer Science / Electrical Engineer and have done research in Autonomous Vehicles and Vision. I have coded long enough to know how to estimate application complexity and to know how to properly structure one. Also: - Generally, a good specification has 3 things: scope, architecture and details. Scope is what you want to do and where it will be used. The architecture is the most important thing and is the logic behind how your application or website will work. It matters a lot that this is done right, and it's where i spend most of my time. If you fail to properly specify your project, the code will be messy and every time you need an update, things will have to be redone. Details are mock-ups and other preferences, which is usually what people give a freelancer. - I prefer elegance and ubiquity over performance: when you're starting, you need your project to be structured and lean. - I am straight to the point: If something is wrong, I will tell you so. - I am European and fluent, in case you want to know. Averages. For most projects: - it takes me 1 hour to properly define a Scope, and between 1 and 2 days to get the Architecture settled. - i will save you at least a few weeks of unnecessary iterations and drawings and discussions with your freelancer. - your first app will look like it was the second. - you get to understand how stuff really works. B. I can also help you with other documents, like reviewing your MBA application.  less
