    "Never passively 'learn something new every day.' Do it actively." - Anon "We are what we repeatedly do. I have a deep appreciation of art and writing that transcends the mechanical rules and stipulations that we place on them. I've been complimented many times on my innovative, yet practical, mind. To break the rules, one must first understand them. I am easily engrossed in my work, to the point that I forget to eat (just don't tell my doc). It is my life. There is nothing I would rather do. To be honest, it isn't work for me. It isn't even recreation. The very prospect of writing an article or developing graphics lights me on fire. I have a sharp eye for detail that borders on compulsive; I have a discipline for color and a keen grasp of what is happening inside the head of the user or the reader; I take deep, deep pride in my work and will never leave a job half-finished, and I am never satisfied until my boss is satisfied (To a point, of course. Once upon a time, someone got smart of took advantage of my generosity. The End). I'm a quick study. If art is my first love, then learning is my life-long best friend. I frequently pick new skills to learn, like a caller picking balls from a bingo cage. I do it partly to exercise and sharpen my mind, but also because I'm bored when I'm not learning (or getting an adrenaline rush). I even learned HTML and CSS from scratch in 5 days, did complex 3D graffiti as my first-ever 3DS Max tutorial and spent over 100 hours learning Photoshop in one week (Afterward, we thought my wrist was broken and couldn't figure out how I'd done it. Never knew Photoshop was so intense, did you?). In short, working as an artist isn't just a job. It's a privilege. And you will never, ever be disappointed with my work.  less
